Marching into spring

It’s just around the corner. Are you looking forward to spring? If so, what do you like best about it?

There’s an old saying: “March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.”

March is a month full of surprises in the unpredictability of our weather. When it starts, it’s still winter and by the end of the month spring has begun!

Spring is full of promise. The daylight hangs around a bit longer. Changes are occurring in the world of nature; there is new growth, blossoming, returning.

One thing thing is certain: life is unpredictable and ever-changing, but our God is never-changing. He is reliable; the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Time does march on, even when we feel like we’re stuck in place. However, with support we can continue to take steps forward. Sometimes it is the most difficult thing to do when facing tough decisions or going through difficult circumstances. We can always lean on God though, and when we do, He is our strength. Our God is the Lion and the Lamb.

May the month of March and beginning of spring bring you hope and renewal!
